  A DJ and producer for over 30 years, Mr Black has pretty much done it all: held residencies across the country, hosted nights at some of the biggest clubs in London (Ministry of sound, Turnmills Pacha and the Cross), enjoyed several tours of Ibiza playing at such places as Es paradis, Eden & Plastik, right through to running and founding record labels (Orgy Dance, Black Plastik Records) He started his DJ career at the tender age of 12, and over the years has played various styles of music, from old skool hip hop, rave/jungle, garage and to what is now referred to as club classic, over the last few years though he has been focused on the tech house/techno and more recently the nu-disco/house resurgence. As well as Djing Mr Black has become a prolific producer and remixer, creating remixes for people such as Angie Brown, Terry Farley and Jon Pleased Wimmin alongside this his own productions under Mr Black & his alias EssBee have been signed to labels such Sonny Wharton’s label (Whartone records), Brandon Blocks bloxbox records, as well as such labels as Kukushka, Neptuun City, Krafted Records and my more. With more productions in the pipeline his tracks have had support from big players such as Paul Oakenfold, Mark Knight, Sasha, Ferry Corsten, Celvin Fisher, Robert Owen, PHNTM , Dirty Secretz, Umek, Sonny Wharton, Mario Ochoa, Bastian Van Shield, Roger Sanchez, So Called Scumbags, Brandon Block ,David Herrero to name just a few.
